Our Instructors
Kathy O’Connor is the owner and head instructor at Bayview Equestrian Center. Kathy holds a Bachelors degree in Animal Science and Biology and is an accomplished rider and trainer with more than 30 years experience. Under her instruction, Kathy’s students have earned numerous local, state and national awards. Kathy has also been a Mentor for the CCISD for the past 5 years, in their career training program.
Christy Burns has an Associate’s Degree in Farm Management and a Bachelors Degree in Agribusiness. She has over 8 years managing, teaching, riding and showing. Christy possesses the skills, perseverance, and patience needed to help students and horses achieve their full potential.
Melody Davis recently joined Bayview Equestrian Center as an associate instructor. Melody moved to Texas from New Jersey where she competed at local and rated USEF zone 2 shows.
